This artist had models wallow nude in blue paint, then press their bodies against a canvass! Here's a video with clips of the event, as well as interviews with one of the models: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjAcXJeqvCw

The best he could do at the time was to patent the process of directing a model whereby, in theory, he asserts the artist's autentic authorship (as opposed to the model's) of the finished artifact. The successful record exists here (in French):
Yves Klein wasn't far from my mind when I created this with my former partner, Ginger, a few years ago. Shown below, (second picture) the canvas as it is today and a screen-cap of it being 'printed' during the shoot (third picture).
Unfortunately, for the 'painting' the shoot itself was multi-substance and got pretty contaminated so I recently coated it with art grade epoxy resin to seal in the food based substances and prevent them from decay. The boob prints have remained colourfast.
The first image is of a girlfriend making a body print at the end of a gold shoot. The canvas survived and because the paint solution was oil based (although black treacle was also involved in the shoot) would have lasted well but was sadly damaged beyond repair during a recent move.

This is a big nostalgia trip. I remember seeing the color clip on a compilation VHS tape from a trading partner waaaay back in the Internet Stone Age. The B&W one is new to me - the model interviews are fascinating.
